Music has always held a special place in my heart but over the last few years I have grown confidently as a musician. I enjoy writing my own music and providing live music for local venues. This has turned my love of music into a passion to perform.

Recently, I collaborated with singer, songwriter, Chad Benson to cultivate a richer and nuanced sound including harmonies and multiple guitars. Together we have had the honor to playing at many Mid Michigan venues and events including MSU Abrams Planetarium, Horrock’s Beer Garden, Dimes Brewhouse, Portland's concert in the park and Confluxcity Brewing Co. As a solo artist I have been honored to play as a special guest, with Jen Sygit at The Avenue Cafe in Lansing, Michigan and in 2021, I placed third in Kathy Ford’s annual competition, Lansing Has Talent.

While traveling to Nashville, Tennessee, I was able to perform at some exceptional open mics including: The Commodore Grille, Kimbros Pickin Parlor and was blessed to sing an original song at the world famous Bluebird Cafe.

The hall of fame songwriter, Harlan Howard is quoted as saying, "Country music is three chords and the truth.” I believe even the simplest music can convey the most complex feelings and tell a story in a way nothing else can. My performances are uncomplicated. Using just my voice and an acoustic guitar, I aim to connect with the audience and share these universal human emotions. For this reason, I truly enjoy performing my original songs. I also sing covers of country, folk, pop and alternative music, spanning many decades.
